MEDISLICK™ N3 LOW FRICTION, MICRON-THIN COATING
Low-friction MediSlick™ N3 is a micron-thin, PFAS-FREE coating for needles and cutting edges. It is a thermally bonded film that exhibits a tenacious bond to smooth cutting surfaces such as scalpels and blades.
MediSlick™ N3 has low surface energy, which reduces puncture and cutting force by providing a superior low friction coated surface. The optically clear, low gloss coating creates a surface that is permanently bonded to all types of metals. The lubricated cutting edges simply cut easier than non-lubricated edges.
The excellent release, low friction and micron-thin properties of MediSlick™ N3 make it an ideal PFAS-FREE coating for needles, surgical blades and scalpels. This ultra-thin film has a low cure temperature and a high 500°F operating temperature.
MediSlick™ N3 was formerly known as FluoroBond® N3. The name was changed to accurately reflect no fluoropolymers in the coating.
